Doodle-Bug!

I have been doing a bit of 'doodling' at the moment.  Quite a nice thing to do, just having a play!  It was the children's air-drying clay that set me off.  One grey afternoon I thought, 'Hey let's have a creative play/Martha Stewart moment...'  Out came all the collected lids and cutters and general plastic tat saved for such an occassion.  It lasted a whole 7 minutes before meltdown.  Why is it they always prefer TV and a packet of pickled onion Monster Munch!!  Anyway, not to be put off, now I had cut out a number of clay rounds from a milk bottle top...

  1. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one to be exasperated by my kids preference for TV over making! I'm sure all our creativity will rub off on them eventually... :) Did you use porcelain pens or just normal felt tips? They're very pretty - would make great fridge magnets! Rachel x
