Are We Nearly There Yet?
I can almost see the light at the end of the sewing-tunnel. I have been so busy I have been slack with the posts; must try harder! Here are some images of Autumnal Collars and Whimsical Folk canvas collages. I really like to imagine what some of the characters are thinking...
Also, I have had a brilliant response from the Deer Collar feature in Mollie Makes, thanks to everyone that contacted me and who made their own collars.

Deer Collar
I was very excited when my subscription to 'Mollie Makes' magazine squashed through the rather too small letter-box. I had a 'making' feature' inside of a Deer Collar, and I was thrilled with the results! Lots of other lovely ideas and features too, and a BIG thanks to the sweet Jane Foster for mentioning me in her blog, (her screen printed Santas are on the page before me!).

I have been really busy with orders and feel I could stitch a face in my sleep now! Here are a few faces that I like alot...

Happy Holidays...
These are my new 'winter hanging folk', they remind me of characters from an old 1950s American movie involving a huge twinkly department store with a moving Santa in the window, ice skaters, and maybe a bumbling but hansome Cary Grant! Vivid imagination I know; they are felt people... get a grip!

Still Here!
I have not dropped off the face of the earth, and am indeed still here. I have been really busy with pre-Christmas making/designing/general stressing 'stuff'. Any how, here are some pictures from 'The Stitch and Knit Show' at Alexandra Palace. Myself and the lovely Gerry www.skiffvintageknittingpatterns.co.uk visited last week and had a nice if not rushed time of it! Here are some images of work from the Gallery section...
The embroidered truck door and hand-embroidered ribbon were quite amazing.

Terrible Twins!
Found some images of mittens I made last year from recycled jumpers; thought they were apt with the weather getting chillier. I always get amusing comments when I wear my pair of twins!

Mollie Makes Magazine...
I am delighted to of been asked to produce a project and feature for this brilliant magazine www.molliemakes.com, for the Christmas edition. I am such a fan, and it is definitely one of my monthly high-lights when I hear the postman attempting to squeeze my subscription through the letterbox! Will keep you posted...
Outdoorsy Guy
I have had a lot of fun hand printing 'Outdoorsy Guy' and his friends for a shop in Rye. I must be one of the only people I know who likes the nights drawing in and the cosiness of being inside on a wet and blustery day. It's a great excuse to create and experiment with ideas that have been on paper for too long! I am feeling quite smug as I have started on some Christmas ideas!
