Stop the Car, a Fete!!!
Aaahhh, the sight of flapping bunting in the summer breeze, the sound of children laughing and people clapping the winner of the 'waggiest tail' in the dog show. The Summer Fete season is well and truly upon us. As I enter the field my first thought is, 'where is the bric-a-brac table???' (swiftly followed by 'is there a Pimms tent?'). A rather good 'bounty' from this particular fete I think, especially the lovely, and in parts faded, 1950s curtains, Pins and Needles magazines (a bargain £1) and 5 reels of Sass & Belle ric-rac!
