Is it wrong to fall in love with a soap dispenser??  I really like this Scandi design company 'Kikkerland', they make some very clever and fun products.  My bambi sits in the kitchen and has definitely been an incentive for children's hand-washing!

I Heart Bags

I am a sucker for bags  (hats, gloves, scarves, sun glasses, belts, collars, brooches, pin badges, polyester frocks, Miss Marple suits, high waisted troos, fairlisle - I am tired now!)and I have had to be really good since having children!  I absolutely could n't resist this one though, and a bargain £10 at my local Tuesday market.  Ohh look at that inside too!  Very pleased I was...

Out & About...

Feeling a bit more like myself and bug free, so took to the streets!  This is what I found... A rather lovely mini sewing box, for when my little girl likes sewing (!!), some very nice cotton fat quarters, for my work, and a rather amusing Clementine paperback with great cartoons in of her ditsy adventures. 

Feeling Poorly...

I have not posted for a while as I have had one of those horrible winter flu-things that are going around.  I have spent so many hours in bed now, I am bored, bored, bored!  Even a brief walk into town seems thrilling.  Thought this little embroidery summed it up...

I hope you have had a good start to the New Year.
What is it about this time of year that makes one need  to sort/declutter/file/decorate/clean/reorganise/detox!!  Well whatever 'it' is, I have succumbed to it (apart from the detox that is!).  Please note my newly re-potted plants, my plate display (I have had them for years), my 'I can now shut the door' art supply cupboard, my pointless-but-sweet kitchen shelves, my recovered stool (again, had it for years), my wallpapered stair well wall (talked about it for years), my super tidy mini office (window cleaned), my blitzed work room.... am I boring you yet??
